Celtic could receive a big European boost ahead of Thursday’s match with AIK, with Tarik Elyounoussi a major doubt to feature, The Scottish Sun report.
The Norwegian international missed the first leg at Celtic Park due to suspension but had been in line to feature for the upcoming clash in Stockholm.
He started their match away to Ostersunds FK at the weekend but had to be forced off in the first half.
He is now waiting on the results of a scan to determine whether he can play against Neil Lennon’s side.
As quoted by The Scottish Sun, the 31-year-old said: “I’m hoping the injury isn’t too bad because we have two really important games this week against Celtic and Djurgardens.
“I came off because I didn’t want to take any chances and make the injury worse.
“It feels sore now, but I am praying it’s not too bad. I will get a scan once it settles down.”

How big a blow would his absence be?
AIK didn’t offer much of a goal threat at Celtic Park and that may well have been because they could not call upon Elyounoussi.
He’s their top scorer so far this season with 12 in total, ten of which have come in league action.
They’ve overly relied upon him in Allsvenkan, with the next ranking player in the Swedish side’s squad only netting four in that competition.
Given they need to mount a serious goal comeback on Thursday night, this is a bitter blow to their chances.
Ultimately the tie is in our hands. If we produce a professional performance our 2-0 aggregate lead should be enough to help us through to the group stages.
However, the Swedes sweating on such a key player is undoubtedly good news.
