Celtic’s domination of Scottish football and Rangers has never been so apparent as it has been since the turn of the century.
Martin O’Neill laid the building blocks when he arrived as the Hoops boss in 2000 and since then Celtic’s trophy history has just grown by the year.
Brendan Rodgers sealed a league and Scottish Cup double last season to draw level on silverware with Rangers last season.
And after Celtic beat Rangers in the League Cup final this year, the Bhoys are now officially Scotland’s most successful club.
But that hasn’t made Celtic supporting talkSPORT host, Alan Brazil happy. Speaking over the hectic festive schedule, Brazil seems to hint that he wants more competition for Celtic, but with a twist.
Alan Brazil suggests he wants a strong Rangers to compete with Celtic
Brazil told talkSPORT, “We need competition in the football. Celtic are going to run away with it again, aren’t they?
“It does disappoint men because you know where my allegiances lie. Rangers, at the moment, there’s something badly, badly wrong.
“Rangers are going from bad to worse. It’s horrendous, if you hear the stories, honestly, it’s not good at all.”
Celtic’s impressive trophy record since 2000
Celtic have had six different managers who have won silverware since the turn of the century. Martin O’Neill, Gordon Strachan, Neil Lennon, Ronny Deila, Ange Postecoglou and Brendan Rodgers have all contributed to the Hoops’ successes over the years.

So with that in mind, here is every major domestic honour Celtic have won since 2000:

With the success Celtic are enjoying domestically and the club making inroads in Europe, not very many Hoops’ supporters will care if Rangers become strong enough to compete with the club again.
