James Forrest answered his critics by coming off the bench and scoring during Celtic’s 3-0 win over 10-man Ross County on Saturday.

It has been a remarkable career for a quite remarkable person because that headed goal at the far post was James Forrest scoring for the 15th consecutive season for Celtic.

Even though the three points were heading towards Celtic’s direction by the time he came onto the pitch, that goal from the 32-year-old probably brought the biggest smile out of everyone – Forrest has over 100 goals and 100 assists for the club, added to his 11 Premiership titles.

And with his current contract set to expire in 2025, you would expect that he is in his final years as a Celtic player.
