Everyone at Celtic Park will be delighted with the news that Scott Brown has received no punishment from the SFA after being cited following his celebrations after the 2-1 win over Rangers last month.
Brown could have been banned for up to two games, but the Daily Record has revealed that the Hoops skipper will face no ban, and can play against Kilmarnock on Saturday.
Celtic will feel the right decision has been made

All at Celtic Park will feel that justice has been done regarding this decision.
It did seem odd that Brown had been charged in the first place. There have been plenty of controversial incidents in the Glasgow derby in the past that have not seen players charged.

Celtic weren’t happy with the decision to charge Brown at the time. They vowed to ‘vigorously‘ defend the Hoops skipper. Neil Lennon wasn’t too pleased either. He described the charge as ‘trumped-up‘.
Brown can concentrate on winning the title
Now the anger can be briefly put to the side. Brown can now concentrate on helping the Hoops win their eighth league title in a row.

He could miss have missed out on a potential title party against Aberdeen next Saturday. However, he will now be able to captain the Hoops to glory.
However, should another Celtic player be on the end of another SFA charge the club don’t agree with, expect another vigorous defence.
