Celtic mad radio presenter Alan Brazil left Rangers legend Ally McCoist looking daft on talkSPORT this morning in a word association game gone wrong.

Brazil announced earlier this week that he’s entering semi-retirement on the radio station after a long career presenting his sports breakfast show on the station.

However, he is still in place on a Thursday and Friday morning.

Today, he found much hilarity in McCoist who, when prompted for a word associated with Rangers, said: “Trophies.”

Brazil, for obvious reasons, found this pretty amusing considering they haven’t won any in recent seasons, including this year’s campaign.

You can see the clip below on the show’s Twitter account.

After a complicated and stressful week for many people, it’s nice to see a bit of light-hearted banter between two old pals on the Celtic and Rangers rivalry.

We’ll need these kinds of entertaining moments going forward with the suspension of football and other potentially society-changing events occurring that will have a major impact on our lives.

As you can imagine, plenty of supporters responded to the clip when it was posted to social media, taking a bit of joy at McCoist’s expense just like Brazil.

Hopefully once the match action starts up again Celtic can continue to be the only team associated with trophies in Scottish football.
