If Andres Iniesta is trying to subtly hint that he wants to join Kyogo at Celtic, he’s not doing a very good job.
The former Barcelona favourite, considered one of the best players of his generation, was best mates with Celtic’s number 8 while the pair played at Vissel Kobe.
But now Iniesta has been caught posing with another J-League superstar who could be on his way to Glasgow.
Seen earlier today on Vissel Kobe’s Twitter feed, Iniesta’s “two shot series” saw him pose with reported Hoops target Daizen Maeda.
You wonder if Kyogo or Celtic came up in the conversation.

Maeda could have the same impact as Kyogo in Glasgow
Iniesta will be well aware of Maeda – the forward finished top scorer in the J-League with 23 goals in 36 games after all.
And after scooping his award, the 24-year-old was keen to let fans know that he appreciates their support.
Maeda took to Twitter not long ago to thanks Marinos fans, team-mates and staff for their help, as he promised he “will continue to run like myself.”
Hopefully he is doing that running in a Celtic shirt very soon.
The forward seems to have the same hunger and work-rate as Kyogo.
If he can bring that same relentless pressing and attacking threat, and score a few goals, he may be just as good a signing.
In other news, Kyogo won’t play in Japan’s first match of 2022
