Liverpool defender Andy Robertson denies speaking to Kieran Tierney about a transfer.
The left-back has taken to Twitter to deny reports that he is pushing his friend down south.
He called claims of any such chat “A lot of rubbish” on Twitter.
Arsenal are in a reported bidding war with Celtic over Tierney. However, Robertson’s words will give fans some encouragement that the Celt will stay.
Andy Robertson denies Kieran Tierney chat
Liverpool fansite Anfield HQ reported on Twitter about the possible chat stemming from ‘transfer consultant’ Ian McGarry.
They report him saying: “The second thing that has changed for Kieran Tierney is speaking to his international teammate Andy Robertson.”
However, Robertson was quick to reply to the suggestion.
He called the claim: “A lot of rubbish.”

Tierney is close to the Scotland captain as they play in the same position.
However, some will be putting two and two together when it comes to them both.
Suggestions that Tierney will be eyeing to replicate Robertson’s English success has been mentioned.
Arsenal are interested in Tierney with bids exceeding £15 million having been made.
It’s down to the Scot whether he wants to ply his trade down south with the Gunners.
However, there are bigger things to come from Tierney and still boxes to be ticked at Celtic.
Celtic chasing replacements for Kieran Tierney?
Several full-backs are being linked with a move to the Hoops, but is it for Tierney’s departure?
Just yesterday a new name in Rapid Vienna left-back Boli Mbombo was reported.
Tierney is currently the club’s only left-back at the moment.
One or even two will need to be bought in any event.
However, if the club are looking to splash the cash then it seems they are predicting a Tierney departure.
