Tom Rogic will be out of Celtic action for two to three weeks, manager Ange Postecoglou has confirmed to media outlets this afternoon.
Rogic hobbled off against Hibernian on Wednesday night, with the Bhoys boss later revealing he had a problem with his hamstring.
Unfortunately that will now keep him out of a number of upcoming matches, as reported by Radio Clyde journalist Alison Conroy.
Rogic has been in sparkling form this season and was particularly impressive at Easter Road before having to go off with his injury. He is now likely to miss matches against Livingston, Ferencvaros and Dundee, at least.
Celtic don’t really have another creative presence in the central areas that can do what the Australian does – turn defences, dribble with close control and devastatingly unlock defences.
The most likely candidate to come into the midfield is Nir Bitton, with Callum McGregor pushed further forward. However, that also disrupts the way Celtic play.

Postecoglou could experiment and give Jota an opportunity to play as a ‘number 10’, now that Mikey Johnston is back and there are more options on the flanks.
There might even be a possibility of using Kyogo Furuhashi in a central area behind Giorgos Giakoumakis, now that the Greek striker is up and running in a Celtic shirt.
Either way, tomorrow’s starting eleven announcement will be interesting.
