Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou makes it four-in-a-row
Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou has been awarded the SPFL manager of the month award for April.
The 56-year old has become very familiar with the award this season, picking it up for each month in 2022, and also back in October. That’s five in total!
His side once again went unbeaten in the league for the month of April, defeating Rangers, St Johnstone and Ross County along the way.
The standout victory across the month came as the Hoops defeated Glasgow rivals Rangers at Ibrox Stadium, taking a six-point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
It has been an award filled month for the former Socceroos boss, having already picked up two manager of the year awards in the last week.
As has become a theme for the Celtic manager, Postecoglou was also pictured with members of his backroom staff, including the legendary member of the Lisbon Lions, John Clark.
It just goes to showcase the superb job Ange Postecoglou has been doing at the club, and he continues to get that recognition from the SPFL.
The Hoops could secure the Premiership title in their next two games against Hearts and Dundee United, needing just four points to bring the title back to Parkhead.
That achievement is not something we could have imagined way back in the earlier stages of the campaign.
But thanks to the incredible work done by Ange, his backroom staff and the players, the club has undergone an unimaginable turnaround.
Again, not bad for someone who was supposed to be gone by Christmas.
