Ange Postecoglou is hopeful that his Celtic squad will be stronger for the upcoming Scottish League Cup final against Hibernian.
However, the Bhoys boss isn’t yet sure exactly who will be available. Or at least, he’s keeping that part under wraps.
Players such as Kyogo Furuhashi, James Forrest and Mikey Johnston have all picked up injuries over the past couple of weeks, with Jota and Giorgos Giakoumakis also out of action.

Last night’s team selection was rather threadbare with a number of players out of position and Academy talents such as Adam Montgomery and Owen Moffat used over the 90 minutes.
Pleasing then that Postecoglou expects reinforcements, even if they are a mystery.
The Bhoys boss told The Scottish Daily Mail [16/12 print edition, page 67]: “It’s hard to say who will be back, we left yesterday and I will see the boys we left back at Lennoxtown tomorrow.
“I’m still hopeful one or two of them will be available for Sunday, but which ones I’m not sure yet. They are all pretty keen to be involved but we will have to be smart in who we use.
“Liel was good through the middle, we knew we’d have to be creative and we scored a super goal.”
It would be quite the boost if Kyogo was available from the start, or even the bench, for the encounter. He has the ability to make an impact on the wide-open spaces of Hampden.

Even a Johnston and Forrest return would give Postecoglou different attacking options.
Regardless, there’s a sense that the manager’s system and organisation will allow Celtic to create chances. Let’s just hope we have the personnel on the pitch to stick them away.
