Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou says Karamoko Dembele may get some minutes with the Celtic B side before being thrust into first-team action.
Dembele suffered a horror injury in pre-season against Bristol City after a less than friendly tackle on his ankle.
He’s been out of action ever since but is now closing in on a long-awaited return.

Karamoko Dembele still waiting on first Celtic start
Speaking to The Herald, Postecoglou said: “He’s been training well. He’s been out for quite a long time. We might get him some game time in the B team to start with. We’ll see how he’s tracking.
“He’s training at the moment and getting close to being available.”
Despite being a much-hyped talent at Celtic for years, the young winger has yet to make his first start in Celtic colours.
He’s made eight appearances from the bench in total but has yet to get that big opportunity that really announces him as a Bhoys player.
Given his inclusion in pre-season, it really did look like that was going to finally come under Postecoglou, but this season has passed him by a little due to that unfortunate injury. It’s no one’s fault.
With his contract expiring and the player now set for minutes with the Celtic B team, it’s fair to say his long-term future at the club is uncertain.
If he wants to stay here, Postecoglou will provide him with the opportunity he’s been waiting for, but the teenager may well consider it’s time to move on without really ever fulfilling his potential at Celtic.
A situation to watch.
