Ange Postecoglou only experienced success at Celtic.
The big Australian remains a fan favourite from his two years at the helm before he moved on to become Tottenham Hotspur manager last year.
Postecoglou is beloved at Parkhead having walked away from the club with a domestic Treble under his belt but his career in the Premier League with Spurs is yet to really get going.
Of course, it’s only the Australian’s second season with the North London club and he has already used the Hoops as an example to promise a trophy to the support.
However, following defeat to Bournemouth in last night’s EPL clash at Vitality Stadium thanks to Dean Huijsen’s winner, Postecoglou suffered a fate he has never felt before from his own fanbase.
At full-time as he went to applaud the supporters who had travelled to watch his squad in action, a small section of punters yelled abuse at the 59-year-old.
Postecoglou, known for his no-nonsense attitude, clapped those who accepted his approach but he also motioned towards those fans who had given him abuse during and after the match.

In a short clip which was posted on social media, Postecoglou could be seen making a ‘calm down’ gesture to some fans as he was ushered away by a steward who was keeping the separation.
A few seconds later the Australian was spotted seemingly accepting the messages from the stands as he sarcastically looked to discover if they were, indeed, being aimed at him.
And when asked by reporters at full-time about what had been said, the former Celtic boss was coy.

“They’re disappointed and rightly so,” he said.
To which he added: “And they gave me some direct feedback which I guess was taken on board.”
Pushed to explain what the ‘direct feedback’ was, he added: “Yeah, probably not for here, mate.”
Spurs currently sit 10th in the Premier League with 20 points from 14 fixtures.
