Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou has reassured supporters that Kyogo Furuhashi has not suffered a serious injury after he limped off in the win against St Johnstone.
Kyogo has been struggling with a hamstring issue in recent weeks and didn’t make the match against St Mirren mid-week despite playing in last week’s League Cup Final.
Today was another speculative start. When the Japanese forward hobbled off, many Celtic fans feared another fairly serious issue. However, he shouldn’t be out for long and could even make the next game after the break.
Postecoglou told Radio Scotland [14:51]: “Listen, we knew he wasn’t 100%. He wanted to give it a go today. We said to him don’t overly risk it, so it’s nothing major, nothing that’s going to keep him out anyway.”
So there you go Celtic fans, crisis averted.
The Celtic players will now get a few days off of training at Lennoxtown to recharge the batteries and regroup ahead of winter work prior to the second half of the season.

With new signings expected over the next couple of weeks and many players returning from injury, the squad should be in far better shape when the team resumes against Hibernian in January than it is now.
If we can use this period wisely, it sets us up for a brilliant 2022. Bring it on!
