It’s the day the Celtic fans were waiting for. The day we get to see where we are going for a potential title party and who we would need to dispatch to kick off the celebrations.
Most of us would have wanted Rangers at Ibrox but the SPFL have given us the next best thing. Hearts at Tynecastle.
However, Ange Postecoglou has reacted to that and although he is looking forward to winning the title in the capital, the Celtic boss laid out what would have been his preference for the first two fixtures.

Speaking to Celtic TV, Ange said, “It’s always a bit of a challenge, I guess, for those doing it. I would have liked to have at least one home game in those first two just because it means that again, our supporters won’t see us for three weeks.
“So it would have been nice, but ultimately it is what it is.
“We’ve just got to deal with what’s before us. And in terms of the league that’s going to Hearts away who have got a new manager with Steven [Naismith] in.
“They got a great result last week, so it’s always a challenge at Tynecastle anyway. So it would be a good place to go and win it because we’re going to have to earn it to do it.”
The Celtic title party is coming
Like Ange, I couldn’t care less where we win the title. As long as we win it.
Ironically, an Ibrox showdown could still be on. If Celtic draw at Tynecastle and Rangers win their first post-match fixture, we could potentially wrap up the title at our rivals the following week.

But Ange, like us, will want it done as soon as possible. I’m sure he will be telling his players to go out and get the job done at Tynecastle.
He will be desperate to get his second title in a row wrapped up and guaranteed Champions League football confirmed for next season.
