Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou has been speaking about the difficulties of travelling to Rugby Park this weekend as the Bhoys look to make it three wins from three at the start of the season.
Postecoglou’s side face recently promoted Kilmarnock on one of the dodgier playing surfaces in the division – an artificial effort that isn’t exactly a benefit to Celtic’s quick passing game.
The Bhoys boss has referenced that in his latest comments but also insists that Celtic have the power to find answers to these issues by focusing on their own football.

Speaking to Celtic TV, he said: “Every week is a different challenge, and this will be a different one. They got promoted last year, Derek did a good job with them to get them up. I’m sure they’ll be looking forward to these fixtures, seeing whether they can disrupt us and stop us.
“Playing at their venue is another challenge, an artificial surface, which affects our game, certainly. All those kinds of things are there.
“As I said last week, whatever the challenge is, the answer lies within our football. As long as we concentrate on playing our brand of football, and believing it, we will be hard to stop.”
Kilmarnock had a positive start to the season in the League Cup group stages but have yet to turn that form into a league victory.
McInnes’ side drew at home to Dundee United on the Premiership’s opening day before losing 2-0 to Rangers at Ibrox over the weekend.
It will likely be a defensive performance we see from them this Sunday. McInnes is well versed in setting up against Celtic, and he will look to frustrate the Bhoys as much as possible.
Those tactics, coupled with a difficult pitch, could make it a tough game for us, but Postecoglou is right – this team can beat anyone in Scotland when playing at their best. It’s up to the players to prove that and maintain the 100% record.
