Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou reckons there’s plenty more to come from Jota after the Portuguese winger netted once again yesterday.
The Bhoys picked up a hard-fought 2-0 win at Ross County on Sunday afternoon, with both goals coming deep into stoppage time at the end of each half.
Jota opened the scoring for the Hoops from the penalty spot to give them a slender advantage heading into the break.

The 24-year-old has now taken his tally of goals in the Scottish Premiership into double figures, while he’s also provided nine assists along the way.
With 22 goal involvements in all competitions this season, Jota is building on what was an impressive debut campaign at Celtic Park last time out. But Postecoglou feels that we are yet to see the best of the former Benfica man.
Postecoglou on Jota’s development
Speaking to Celtic’s official YouTube channel after yesterday’s win at Victoria Park, Postecoglou was asked about Jota’s development over the past two seasons.
“Jota in his career before he got to us wasn’t going on the trajectory he wanted and he was the one who made the decision to come here and work hard at his game and improve, and he is,” the Celtic boss responded.
“He’s constantly improving, like all the group, and that needs to keep happening because there’s more in them, there’s more in him and I’m sure he’s working his way towards that.”

Jota is making great strides under Postecoglou and he’s become a reliable source of goals for Celtic.
The switch to Glasgow has certainly benefited the talented winger and it’s scary to think that he hasn’t reached his full potential as of yet.
The £6.4 million Celtic paid for Jota is looking like an astute piece of business and his development under Postecoglou is clear for all to see.
He has even improved dramatically in terms of his work-rate off the ball, with his qualities in the final third never in doubt. It’s exciting that Ange feels there’s plenty more to come from the talented forward and we certainly hope that we’ll get to witness his best years in Glasgow.
