Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou may well have seen off his second Rangers manager if reports about Giovanni van Bronckhorst are to be believed.
Numerous outlets, including STV, are reporting that van Bronckhorst has been sacked a year into the job.

Of course, at that stage our rivals had a healthy lead at the top of the Premiership. Yet, Postecoglou has firmly put his rival in his place in the 12 months since, and Celtic now enjoy a nine point lead at the top of the league after clinching the title last term.
Ange has also dished out two humbling defeats to our rivals, with the most recent a sensational 4-0 success at the start of the season.
We are next due to face our rivals at Ibrox on Monday 2 January, with four league matches to come before then.

Of course, van Bronckhorst is the second Rangers manager to leave the club since Ange came to Celtic, with Steven Gerrard departing little over a year ago.
While many Rangers fans may be pleased with the news of their under-fire boss being put out of his misery, the uncertainty engulfing the club amid a search for a replacement may have further consequences.
Celtic’s stars just need to enjoy their time off, come back recharged and ready to pile on more agony from December 17 onwards.
