A Celtic supporter has hilariously been given permission by Ange Postecoglou to get an “Angeball” tattoo on his leg this afternoon.

The Celtic manager was taking part in a superb Q&A in which over 1,000 questions were sent in to the club. Unsurprisingly, the popularity of the Hoops boss was through the roof.

And as he responded to some of the best ones, he was humorously asked for permission by a supporter to get a particular tattoo. In typical Ange fashion, he was happy to play ball:

No doubt there will be a few joining in with this idea after what’s been a hugely successful debut season in Scotland for the Greek-Australian.

Just a point tomorrow at Tannadice and the manager will have managed to wrestle the title back from Rangers within the space of a year. It’s truly incredible and something that’s instantly seen Postecoglou rise to iconic status at the club.

And it’s fair to say he’ll be getting plenty of tributes in the coming days if he gets the job done.

Ange Postecoglou continues to relate to the Celtic support on so many levels

One of Ange’s key traits this season when it comes to his relationship with the Celtic support has indeed been his humour. He’s always happy to have a laugh and a joke with the support or the media and has come across extremely likable in doing so.

Nobody could’ve imagined that he would’ve had such an incredible reputation in Glasgow by now. Even at the start of the season, many were simply pushing the idea of competing as his main goal. He’s done a lot more than that.

The fact that the treble was being pushed for such a prolonged period of time only goes to highlight the job he’s done here. And fans are now hugely excited over what he’ll deliver at Parkhead next season.

Celtic have had so many managers over the years they simply couldn’t relate to. Managers who couldn’t see things from their perspective and so often didn’t connect with the support. Ange has been the total opposite.

No doubt “Angeball” won’t be the only Celtic-related tattoo getting planted on someone this summer. This club is in a fantastic position, and it’s really all down to him and his incredible squad.
