Jota did not take long in making himself at home again.
The Celtic winger cried happy tears after scoring on his re-debut last weekend as his side beat Motherwell 3-1 in Scottish Premiership action.
It was an emotional moment for the player who has struggled since leaving for Al-Ittihad in 2023 before his Rennes move also failed to really take shape.
Daizen Maeda made the goal for his pal with a cut-back to end the scoring on the day at Fir Park but it was a threaded pass from Arne Engels which started the move.

Engels has really found his feet at Celtic having been questioned early in his career in Glasgow and he is hopeful of adding to his stats on the pitch for his side.
And if he can do so while also helping new teammate Jota to add to his own tally, the Belgian will be a happy man.
The 21-year-old spoke this week about Jota and how pleased he is to welcome the wide player back to Parkhead after time away.
There was an acknowledgement of the talent the 25-year-old possesses, and Engels hopes to be able to really get the best out of the playmaker to help Celtic succeed further beyond the one trophy they have already secured this campaign thus far.

“First of all, he’s a lovely guy,” Engels said on Celtic TV.
“From the first day that I met him, he’s great to speak to, and he’s just nice to have around in the dressing room,” he said.
“I wasn’t here when he was first at the club, but I heard a lot of amazing things about what he did here.
“You can see in training that he has a lot of quality, and then he comes on in the game and scores directly.
“The fans love him, and I hope to see a lot more from him. It’s up to us as a team to help him improve even more than he already is, and I think he’ll do really well for us.”
