Celtic record buy Arne Engels will be desperate to continue his excellent form against RB Leipzig tomorrow night as the Bhoys look to take a step closer to Champions League progression.
The Belgium international claimed two assists against Aberdeen on Saturday as the Bhoys sailed through to the Premier Sports Cup final, and is now primed for another shot on the Champions League stage after his impressive early innings.
With Arne Engels brought to Celtic for £11 million in the summer, there is an argument to say he was acquired with pressure on his shoulders to shine on the elite stage.

Despite all that, the Dendermonde-born playmaker is calmness personified most of the time, which can only bode well in a dressing room headed up by Brendan Rodgers that requires players to be on an even keel.
With tomorrow representing another important step for Celtic on what they hope will be a journey to European progression, Engels has outlined what the Bhoys expect from Leipzig and who could be their most dangerous attacking threat.
Arne Engels on what Celtic expect from RB Leipzig
Speaking earlier today to the media, Engels detailed that Celtic are expecting a tough test from Leipzig, but have put in plenty tactical work of their own to combat their main selling points.
He stated: “We are expecting a really good team. We are really prepared, we did some tactical things in the morning, everybody is really excited for the game tomorrow and everybody is really ready.”
On his memories of facing Leipzig, Engels continued: “I’ve played some games against Leipzig of course, I played in the Bundesliga, but every team is changing and every team is improving, so it’s a different team from last year, so it’s clear they’re all really good players, it’s clear because otherwise they don’t play in Leipzig.
“We also have a really good squad and we are also playing at home. It’s a really exciting game for us and for the fans, I think.”
Arne Engels singles out Antonio Nusa as RB Leipzig threat
Later on, Engels singled out his former Club Brugge teammate Antonio Nusa as one to watch tomorrow night, as he stated: “I know some players there, of course, some Belgian guys. Nusa, I played with him in Club Brugge, so it’s going to be nice to see them tomorrow.
“It’s always nice to see some former teammates or teammates from the national team; I cannot wait to see them!”
Make no mistake, Leipzig will offer a difficult outing for Celtic tomorrow as they bid to turn their Champions League aspirations into a reality.
However, with the visitors arriving after three consecutive league phase losses, there could be room for the Bhoys to put the German outfit under real pressure tomorrow by seizing motivation from the home crowd. Hopefully, another famous European night could be in store.
