For all of the woes at Celtic this season, at least the kits are great.

With modern football protocols insisting that new full strips must be made every season, there are always keen artists looking to make an impression.

For Celtic that has become especially true since announcing a five-year deal with Adidas last year. As ever, intrepid concept kit makers have been busy, with the football strip rumour mill normally going into overdrive in the second half of the season.

Normally, concept kit designs garner plenty of debate. But this one, which we’re going to assume isn’t a home kit, has split fans right down the middle. Designed by Twitter user SETTPACE, it’s certainly an original take.

 Celtic kit idea splits supporters

Football shirt culture always divides supporters. There are those who couldn’t care less as long as the home kit has simple, solid Green and White hoops. Others buy in completely, comparing notes on potential away jerseys and collecting obscure shirts from years gone by.

This one, however, really created some debate.

Meanwhile, Livi chief David Martindale has shown his class ahead of tonight’s clash.
