Celtic make the trip to Italy this week to face off against Atalanta in the Champions League.
It has been a topsy turvy campaign for Brendan Rodgers‘ side so far.
The Hoops blew away Slovan Bratislava at Parkhead on matchday one in what was a staggering 5-1 victory in front of a jam-packed home crowd.
Liam Scales, Kyogo, Arne Engels, Daizen Maeda and Adam Idah all buried their chances that evening in what was the best opening night Champions League performance from Celtic ever.
Fast-forward to their second outing, away to Borussia Dortmund, and it was an evening of misery for anyone of a green and white persuasion as Rodgers’ troops went down in a 7-1 hammering.
It was a night to forget and had Celtic fans hoping for a much improved performance in the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo this week.
But while the squad must figure things out on the pitch, they might have another issue to contend with in the matchday referee.
The whistler in the middle is to be Bosnian Irfan Peljto.
He is not a household name nor are his assistants Senad Ibrišimbegović, Davor Beljo or fourth official Antoni Bandić.

But Celtic fans will still remember him from their campaign last season.
Mr Peljto was the man in charge when Celts were beaten 2-0 by Feyenoord at De Kuip back in September of last year.
That evening there were red cards for two of Celtic’s players in Gustaf Lagerbielke and then Odin Thiago Holm who were sent off by the same ref to take charge on Wednesday.

Goals that night from Calvin Stengs and Alireza Jahanbakhsh were the difference but supporters only remember the two sendings off which ended the game as a contest.
Rodgers and the supporters in attendance will hope their players don’t give the ref any excuses to be card-happy on the night.
