Taking to Instagram, Trusty shared a selection of snaps from Celtic’s cup-winning afternoon against Rangers that has put them on course for another successful campaign.

Accompanying his pictures, the United States international wrote a simple yet efficient message, which read ‘CHAMPIONS’ with a trophy emoji and a green heart emoji attached.

Intriguingly, this is the first trophy that Trusty has got his hands on at club level. He has won the CONCACAF Nations League and CONCACAF under-20 Championship at international level.

Despite being taken off at half-time and replaced by Liam Scales, the achievement of claiming silverware will live long in the memory.
