Celtic have since moved on from a winter transfer window that caused mass discussion as they look to secure a domestic double.
In what seemed to be a never-ending month filled with speculation, only Nicolas Kuhn and Adam Idah were introduced to the fold at Parkhead.
Both combined to provide Brendan Rodgers’ side with an equalising goal in their stalemate with Aberdeen yesterday; however, many fans were disappointed that more bodies didn’t arrive before the deadline.
On Saturday, some made their feelings known with a banner directed at the Celtic hierarchy during proceedings, and it is hard to disagree with their general sentiment.
Nevertheless, crucial fixtures are on the horizon for the Bhoys, and they still have a distinct possibility of becoming Scottish Premiership champions alongside retaining the Scottish Cup by the end of the campaign.
Starting with Wednesday’s trip to face Hibernian, the Hoops will need to get any inconsistency out of their system if they are serious about making their aspirations a reality.
BBC pundit Neil McCann has his say on Celtic transfer business
Transfer activity at Celtic has become one of the most talked about aspects of wider Scottish footballing consciousness over the past few weeks. The topic is also unlikely to fade into the distance any time soon.
BBC pundit Neil McCann has now had his say on matters surrounding Rodgers’ January recruitment and isn’t sure that the Hoops’ dealings will be able to get them over the line in the title race.

McCann stated on Sportscene: “They’re not the same cutting-edge Celtic team as they were under Ange Postecoglou, but that’s totally understandable. But the transfer business, I think Celtic fans thought we need put a foot down here. We need to try and beef the squad up. Brendan said it himself.
“Brendan said it himself: he wanted more experience and more quality – I don’t know if he got it. Idah looks decent but is that enough to try and swat Rangers away. I don’t know.”
Celtic weren’t the only team who made minimal adjustments in the mid-season window, as can be seen by the general lack of movement south of the border, though that doesn’t mean to say that more business couldn’t have been done at Parkhead.
The battle for the title is in full swing and it remains to be seen whether the Bhoys can pull through to deliver further domestic dominance.
