Celtic B player Dylan Corr has announced his departure from the club.

The midfielder ended a 12 year stint in Glasgow with a heartfelt message on Instagram on Wednesday evening.

Corr wrote: “The past 12 years of my life has been an unbelievable journey.

“Had many ups and downs over my time at Celtic but enjoyed every minute of it. Would like to thank everyone I’ve worked with and my team-mates who I have built a connection to be lifelong mates with.

“To be able to spend this amount of time at the club I’ve grown up following and supporting all over the country has been a pleasure. Excited to start a new journey.”

At the time of writing, the news hasn’t been communicated officially by Celtic on any of their channels.

However, Raith Rovers did announce on Thursday evening that they had signed Corr on a one year deal.

The centre-back was a part of Celtic B’s recent Glasgow Cup win at Ibrox and we covered his 2019 ball boy moment just last week.

Plenty of his current and former team-mates were keen to pass on their regards under the Instagram post.

Liverpool’s Ben Doak wrote “all the best sen” while Blackpool’s Owen Moffat urged him to “kick on.”

Dane Murray said “All the best my boy” and Rocco Vata wrote “Now is your time bro”.

Bosun Lawal and Josh Adam were two others who wished Corr all the best.

It’s clear he was a popular member of the Celtic B dressing room. We wish him all the best at Raith.
