Benjamin Arthur may have made a fine start to life on the pitch at Celtic, but there is one thing that he hasn’t enjoyed since coming to Glasgow.
Arthur signed on loan from Brentford on transfer deadline day and had to be patient to earn his first few minutes in the team.
The defender has impressed since his first start against Aberdeen and has looked comfortable when playing alongside Liam Scales. Playing with senior pros is helping his career, but the weather is one thing that they cannot stop.

Benjamin Arthur is the latest Celtic signing to hate the weather
London and Glasgow aren’t too dissimilar in terms of weather, however, those that come from England’s capital like to think it is.
While there is a lot to love about playing in Scotland, the 20-year-old admitted that he prefers the weather south of the border.
He told Celtic TV: “The weather. I’m not a big fan of it at all. There’s no sunshine.”

Despite that, he added that he is loving life with the Hoops.
“I think I’ve only been here a number of weeks, but I think I’ve already learned so much as a player and even as a person.
“Different experiences help you develop. So, it’s been really good so far.”
Callum McGregor and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have been Arthur’s inspirations since coming to the club and if he continues on this trajectory, he has every chance of being as successful as those two.
