The Bhoys Celtic fan group have been relocated to a different location in the stadium for season 2026/27.

For a number of years, the group has been situated in the Jock Stein Stand, directly opposite the Green Brigade’s position in the North Curve.

However, this looks set to change ahead of the next campaign, allowing the group to enjoy the benefits of Safe Standing along with the GB.

An email has been sent to supporters affected by the relocation.

Celtic relocate Bhoys to comply with ‘new safety and operational requirements’

An email sent to those in the section to be occupied by the Bhoys said: “Thank you for your continued support of Celtic Football Club.

“Supporters like you are at the heart of everything we do and we never take that for granted.

“We are writing to share an upcoming change at Celtic Park for next season that affects your current seat, as detailed below, and we wanted to explain this change to you thoroughly.

“In order to meet new safety and operational requirements, we will be relocating the Bhoys fans’ group to a new area of the stadium.

“Unfortunately, this means that your current seat will be impacted and not available for you to renew for next season.

“We know this is difficult news. For many, a seat at Celtic Park is more than just a place to watch the game, it is part of your routine, your memories and your history at the Club.

“We understand that and while we have undertaken a number of relocation programmes previously, we’re really sorry to be asking you to relocate.

“To be very clear and it is very important that you know- you will be GUARANTEED a Season Ticket at Celtic Park next season.

“What we can promise is that we’ll do everything we can to help you find somewhere that still feels like home.

“You’ll have priority access to all available seats once renewals are completed and before Season Tickets go on sale to the Waiting List.”

Bhoys relocation shows Celtic acknowledging Green Brigade recommendations

Just last month, the Green Brigade requested this exact move from the club in a list of recommendations to the club.

In the long term, the groups want a larger Rail Seating section in the Jock Stein stand lower, proposed to be known as The Celtic End.

They also demanded full refunds for all matches missed by supporters, a “consistent and visible presence” of the Supporter Liaison Officer in the North Curve, and allocation of away points for matches that members “would’ve otherwise attended.”

In the medium-term, the group have recommended the establishment of a democratically elected Fan Advisory Board and a “transparent, meaningful supporter engagement framework.”
