Celtic defender Dedryck Boyata has posted a farewell message to Hoops fans on social media.
The 28-year-old took to Instagram to say his goodbyes following a pretty successful four year spell at the club.
The defender posted a one-minute video featuring some of the highlights from his time at Celtic Park. He included goals against Rangers and Aberdeen and several of the trophy celebrations over the past three seasons.
He also thanked the club, players, staff and supporters who “always set fire in the stands”.

Boyata’s legacy
The defender’s time will probably be looked on pretty positively when the dust settles on his move to Hertha Berlin.
Boyata was one of the many players to improve drastically under Brendan Rodgers. He played no part in the first half of the invincible season but was one of the key men by the time the Scottish Cup final had rolled around.
He scored 13 goals for the Hoops all in – a pretty decent record for the amount of games he played. As the seasons under Rodgers rolled on, Boyata become a mainstay of the team and a player we struggled to do without.
He did have his moments though. The Belgian international was prone to a high-profile error at exactly the wrong time. Two such instances happened last season at Ibrox and against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
That’s probably what will hold him back from becoming a real top central-defender. He has all the traits otherwise. Celtic’s task now is to try and replace him with real quality that can stand up and be counted both domestically and in Europe.
