As soon as Celtic start doing well under Brendan Rodgers, clubs from all over the land are linked with him.

Ally McCoist has tipped Rodgers to join Tottenham Hotspur and replace under-fire Ange Postecoglou, who looks destined to depart.

The Celtic manager has always remained coy on the topic and his full focus is on completing another Treble-winning domestic campaign.

Rodgers can add the Scottish Premiership to the Scottish League Cup already won and will also hope to add the Scottish Cup to his accolades on 24 May against Aberdeen.

Whether we see the Northern Irishman in the dugout at Celtic Park next season remains up for discussion, but his latest comments have given a small look into how he is feeling.

Brendan Rodgers appears to commit future to Celtic

Season ticket renewals are up for grabs and there’s plenty to dissect.

Fans were excited by a little teaser in the video in which a shirt with Kieran Tierney’s name printed on the back celebrated his imminent return in the summer.

There was also a statement from Rodgers encouraging fans to commit to another season of cheering on the Bhoys and by the sounds of it, he will be here too.

Posted to the official club website, which was headlined as ‘Back for the future’, he said: “Looking ahead to next season, with key, quality players returning to the club at the peak of their careers, we’re building for the future. They are joining other experienced and highly-talented players who know how to win, led by our fantastic captain, Callum McGregor.

“The core of the squad is strong and we aim to make more, exciting new additions to ensure we are the strongest we can be. We are in a solid position going into next season, and everyone at the club is excited for the future.

“We look forward to having your continued support at this exciting time, and hope that you will join us again at Paradise as, together, we embark on the next chapter in Celtic’s illustrious history.

“Let’s celebrate the wins, revel in the electric atmosphere, make incredible memories with loved ones and experience all that the 2025/26 season has to offer.”

Brendan Rodgers can earn forgiveness from Celtic fans if he doesn’t repeat same trick

For all he’s won at the club, there is still some trepidation towards Rodgers from sections of the fanbase.

The way he left to join Leicester City in 2019 left a bitter taste in the mouth of supporters as he abandoned the chance to lift the Treble-Treble, just before the final hurdle.

Since coming back, in terms of winning trophies it’s been business as usual under the Northern Irishman but it’s still not enough.

Now that there are rumours linking him to Tottenham, all eyes are on what he will do next.

If he rejects the advances and stays, then the tide may change and he can earn the full forgiveness of fans.
