Brendan Rodgers believes that his Celtic side have been unlucky this season, and that there is one game that they definitely should’ve won.
Things haven’t gone to plan for the Hoops and they currently find themselves second in the Scottish Premiership table ahead of the clash against league leaders Hearts.
There are plenty of things that Celtic need to improve, but Rodgers thinks the club have had things go against them, and identified one particular fixture they deserved to take three points from.

Celtic should’ve beaten Hibernian, says Brendan Rodgers
Celtic know that a win is the only acceptable result to keep them within touching distance of Hearts in the title race.
They could’ve been closer if they had picked up three points against the likes of Hibernian and Dundee, with Rodgers claiming that if Celtic replayed the 0-0 draw against Hibs, it would be a win for the Bhoys.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the Celtic manager said: “If I look at some of our games, there’s a bit of luck has played a part in some of the things that have gone against us.
“I think if we played Hibs again like we did, then we would have won that game.
“There’s other games where things haven’t quite dropped for us, and then there’s been other games like Dundee where we were nowhere near the standard of a club like Celtic.”
Celtic have no time to dwell on the past
Whatever happens for the remainder of the season, one thing is clear: Celtic can’t change the past.
Yes, the results haven’t been up to standards, but there is still a long way to go and time to reclaim the top spot.
Now is the time for the Hoops to really show what they’re made of, and debunk Tony Bloom’s theory that Celtic can be toppled.
