Leicester City are in for former Celtic target and Olympiakos right-back Omar Elabdellaoui.

The Bhoys were reportedly interested in the Norwegian in January when Brendan Rodgers was manager.

Now, the Irishman guiding the Foxes wants to bring the international to England according to Greek outlet SDNA.

Despite Rodgers’ interest in January, Elabdellaoui remained in Greece with the top club.

The Bhoys ended up bringing in Jeremy Toljan on-loan from Borussia Dortmund instead.

Unfortunately, the German fell quickly out of favour and warms the bench.

Elabdellaoui on the other hand has played 34 games this season for the runners-up in the Greek Superleague.

Lustig has given many good years service at Celtic but it is perhaps time for him to move on.

He has been subjected to moves back home but as of yet nothing has came to fruition.

Despite Rodgers’ departure, we should still be looking at Elabdellaoui, This would spell the end of Lustig’s time at the club too.

It’s time for the board to step up the money and get this one over the line ASAP under the nose of Rodgers.
