A brilliant picture of Celtic defender Christopher Jullien and Karamoko Dembele has gone global, with media outlets around the world choosing to share it with their audience.

Dembele made a rare appearance for Neil Lennon’s team on Saturday during our 3-0 victory over Ross County, substituted on in the second half.

After the match, Jullien took to social media to share a picture of the duo which showed off the incredible height difference between the pair, much to the amusement of supporters.

It attracted a huge response on Twitter and Instagram, with the photo liked thousands of times by fans and generating hundreds of comments.

The photo was subsequently picked up by the global football media too with outlets like ESPN in the USA, Record in Mexico, Instant Foot in France and BG Sports in Turkey running with it on their social channels, some of whom are followed by millions of people, generating even more interaction.

Dembele is already a name attracting hype amongst football fans outwith Glasgow.

When he was linked with a move to Chelsea in November (90min.com), we noted that there were plenty of Blues supporters who were already aware of the teenager and keen on signing him.

If he starts playing regularly in Lennon’s first-team over the next few months then that neutral interest is only going to increase further, especially if he can score goals of the quality of his effort last week against Clyde.

There’s plenty more to come from Dembele and hopefully, photographers manage to catch him and Jullien in the same frame regularly moving forward!
