Celtic stars past and present have all responded to Scott Sinclair’s heartwarming Instagram post from home with his family, in which he is celebrating his birthday.
Turning 31, Sinclair is obviously not able to enjoy his big day away from self-isolation following government measures to keep every household indoors as much as possible.
He had a simple message accompanying a picture of his wife and children: “…31 years young, Family is everything! Keep safe people.”
Sinclair left Celtic just a couple of months ago during the January transfer window, making the switch to Preston North End after failing to win his way into Neil Lennon’s plans.
Nonetheless, he remains a popular figure with supporters who have fond memories of his time as part of the Invincibles and treble-treble winning teams.
No Celtic player scored more goals than him across those three seasons. He proved to be a remarkable signing by Brendan Rodgers and deserves his place as part of the Hoops story.
It seems he remains a popular person with his old teammates too with many responding to wish him well this evening including current captain Scott Brown, ex-defender Erik Sviatchenko and former hero Patrick Roberts.
There was even a message from the mysterious Marvin Compper
Hopefully all Celtic players past and present stay safe and close to their families.
The same can be said for all Hoops supporters, our readers and anyone else in impacted countries!
