Recent Celtic signing from PSG Timothy Weah has made a good start to his Celtic career.
He has scored three goals in six appearances, which is a more than decent return so far. Interestingly enough, his goals have all came in games where he appeared as a substitute.
At the moment, it seems like thrilling cameo appearances so the player more than starting a game does. That is not to say he has played poorly in the two games he has started. His game just seems to suit running at tired defences.
For example, the recent 2-0 victory over St Johnstone. The Saints defence, which had stood up to constant Celtic attacks, finally wilted when Weah came on.

His guile and turn of pace set up the opening goal for James Forrest, then his rapid speed turned a Saints corner into a Celtic goal which he finished in style.
It would not be a surprise to see Weah start against St Johnstone in the Scottish Cup, then be unleashed as a sub against Valencia in the Europa League.
If the player returns to Celtic on loan next season then Brendan Rodgers can spend the summer moulding the player into a regular first-team starter.
For the moment though, Weah can do more damage coming on as a second-half substitute.
