Celtic have a number of talented youngsters out on loan this season.
Lenny Agbaire, Ben Summers, and Josh Clarke are all enjoying temporary spells away from Celtic as they get first-team experience at their loan clubs.
But it seems that there is another young Celtic Academy talent who is thriving away from Parkhead this season.
So much so, that he is on the brink of winning the league and being promoted and taking his temporary club into the Austrian top-flight.

Matthew Anderson tells Celtic boss ‘I am learning’ as league title win nears
Young Matthew Anderson has been enjoying a second spell on loan at Admira Wacker this season. With 13 appearances under his belt, the young Celtic fullback has helped the Austrian club to a seven-point lead at the top of the Bundesliga 2.
With just 12 games to go and promotion to the Austrian top-flight beckoning, Anderson has sent Brendan Rodgers a message about how he is progressing this season.
Anderson told The Herald Sport [print edition page 3]: “The standard is really good in the Bundesliga second tier. That would maybe surprise folk because it’s unknown to us.
“But if we were to get promoted, we would be playing against the likes of Red Bull Salzburg, Rapid Vienna, and Sturm Graz.
“I learned the physical side of the game playing for Celtic in the Lowland League, but over in
Austria, I feel it’s more technical so I am learning that side of it too.
“I feel as if I have come on a lot playing there. I am just concentrating on trying to win the league with Admira.
“Darren O’Dea, our pathways manager, is always in contact with us and he has come out a few times and is planning on coming out before the end of the season too. He’s been great for me and Ben.
“We have played almost every game so the partnership has been good. It’s been beneficial to me and I would imagine it’s been beneficial to the clubs too.”
Matthew Anderson’s loan spell at Admira Wacker and what it means for Celtic
Young Anderson has been receiving plenty of plaudits over the last few weeks and was given a ringing endorsement by former Celtic coach Greig Robertson.
Likened to Kieran Tierney, 67 Hail Hail believes Anderson could be an obvious backup to the Celtic leftback when he returns to the club this summer.
With 35 first-team appearances at Admira amounting to over 2747 minutes of football, Anderson is getting plenty of experience at his temporary home.
With Jeffrey Schlupp and Greg Taylor looking like they could leave Celtic at the end of the season, the 21-year-old could be the perfect man to step in and become Rodgers’ backup option to Tierney next season.
However, with his contract having just over three months left to run at Celtic, the Hoops boss will need to act fast to tie him down or risk losing him for free at the end of the season.
