Celtic have added the iconic away jersey worn from season 1994 to 1996 to the club’s official shop.
The announcement was made by the Celtic FC Shop’s Twitter account on Thursday afternoon.
And while most supporters are a bit pre-occupied by Adidas’ current Hoops gear, some fans were keen to reminisce by taking a peak back at the mid 90s.
The period may not have been a wholly positive one from a Celtic point of view, but retro kits are certainly growing in popularity at present.

Retro kits are big in fashion at the moment
It’s great to see Celtic bringing out these retro kits – even if they are a little before this writer’s time.
Already on the club website are the home and away Centenary kits as well as the 1993/94 striped away kit.

Hopefully the club continue to bring out more retro kits as fans are evidently keen to pay money for them.
It’s a wonder that any Celtic fans even have any money left given the wonderful array of clothing the club have brought out over the past few months.
They’ve definitely upped their game in that respect, and should be seeing the financial benefits as a result.
In other news, hopes for a test event at Celtic Park prior to the reopening of Scottish football stadia seem to have received a boost.
