Neil Lennon’s Celtic squad will pull on the club’s new Adidas training gear for the first time tomorrow, The Scottish Sun reports.
Today, the club teed up the new partnership with the German sportswear company by wishing farewell to long-term partners New Balance, whose contract expires tomorrow.
That allows Celtic to begin marketing of the new matchday kits and training gear from July 1st after weeks of leaks.
However, The Scottish Sun reports that we’ll be waiting a bit longer on the official unveiling of the home, away and third kits.
They reckon launch day will be on Friday July 10th.
Lennon’s Bhoys are due to get on with pre-season preparations at Lennoxtown though and are expected to be showing off the new training designs on Wednesday.
That collection can be a big seller itself if the range is considered smart enough.
There’s also the small matter of updating Celtic Park with a seat makeover.
The report states that we’ll be replacing the New Balance logo that’s emblazoned across the North Stand with Adidas branding.
It’s a summer of transition at the Hoops with long-serving players leaving the club, new commercial deals kicking off and hopefully a couple of new faces coming into Lennon’s squad.
There’ll be a fresh look around the club but the squad will be tasked with the usual, dominating the competition in Scotland on their way to historic trophy goals.
