Celtic have sold out of their allocation of standard tickets for tonight’s match at home to Bayer Leverkusen in the UEFA Europa League.

Paradise is set to be rocking prior to kick-off and throughout, especially if the team can produce a performance to match the atmosphere.

The club announced the news via the official ticketing Twitter account this afternoon.

Away fans will also be in attendance at the stadium tonight for the first time since the onset of the global pandemic. That will be special in and of itself. It’s always a better spectacle when there’s a bit of tension in the stadium.

Celtic supporters have really taken to the Europa League in recent years as a competition to get excited about. With almost 60,000 in attendance, it will be one of the biggest crowds across the continent tonight.

Ange Postecoglou and his Bhoys have their work cut out against the Germans, but we still have the capability to compete.

Some supporters may be dreading a poor result tonight, but I don’t think that will take away from the Celtic Park roar when the lights go up and the Huddle forms ahead of kick-off.

Bring your colours, bring your noise. It could well be a special, famous occasion for the Hoops.

Anything is possible on a European night.
