Celtic have announced the details of tickets for the upcoming Scottish Cup semi-final against Rangers on 30th April, including selection criteria.
The Bhoys will be handed a 50/50 split allocation with their city rivals for the big clash at Hampden, with Celtic today confirming that briefs will be balloted amongst all season ticket holders on the Home Cup Ticket Scheme.
Prices range from £28 to £38 for adults and £13 to £18 for concessions depending on which part of the national stadium the seats are in. They will go on sale to those successful in the ballot this Wednesday 5th April at 10am. The deadline to purchase comes on Tuesday 11th April at 5pm.
That means fans will find out very soon whether or not they will be able to get a ticket for the massive derby. 67 Hail Hail understands e-mails are already starting to arrive for those who have been selected. All details and links to buy can be found via the official club website.
This is already a derby week, of course, with the Bhoys hosting Rangers this weekend in the Scottish Premiership. It’s a match that could go a long way towards determining this season’s title winners with Celtic currently a healthy nine points ahead at the top of the table.
The match at Hampden at the end of the month could have treble implications too. Celtic are in the hunt for that kind of success after taking care of Rangers the last time the two sides met at the venue, in the Scottish League Cup final.
Celtic haven’t been beaten by the Ibrox side yet this term and there is optimism that can continue in at least two of the three remaining fixtures between the two clubs, pushing Ange Postecoglou’s squad towards major success. Tickets for the Hampden bout, in this context, will be absolute gold dust for fans.
