The Celtic support have once again answered the call made by the club by selling out their full allocation for next month’s Betfred Cup semi-final against Hibernian.
Earlier in the week, we told you how the club had received a further allocation for the game on Saturday 2nd November. That was due to the Leith side failing to sell out their full quota of tickets.

Now the Hoops support have taken little time to secure their seat for the match with the club confirming on Thursday afternoon that their allocation had now sold out. The briefs were available to all supporters – on general sale – for a brief period on Thursday but it took little time for the remaining tickets to be snapped up.
And now Hampden Park will be close to a sell-out for the 5:30pm kick-off with the Celtic support likely to outnumber their Edinburgh counterparts by as many as four to one.
Hampden should be rocking for Celtic vs Hibernian clash
It will make a nice change to see Hampden close to capacity for a game between the sides. The semi-final in the same competition two years ago was blighted by swathes of empty seats in the Hibs end – with Celtic far from happy that some of their supporters had missed out.

But that won’t be the case this time around with virtually every fan who wanted a ticket for the match likely to be able to go.
It has all the ingredients for a terrific evening of football. Hopefully, the team can back the fans’ support by putting on a display to remember.
