Celtic have created a ticketing disaster for next week’s clash against Rangers at Ibrox.
The club have announced those who were at the last away derby tie won’t get tickets this time.
This will be hard on the thousands of faithful followers who go every match.
However, this will give an opportunity for others who were locked out for the December fixture.
Celtic announce Rangers ticket change
The Bhoys will only get the new allocation of 800 since the changes came in this season.

Celtic fans used to get the full Broomloan Stand for many years but Rangers changed their mind.
The club told fans: “Please note, STH who meet the criteria and who were successful for match v. Rangers on 29th December are not included in the ballot.
“We do not have a sufficient allocation to offer all STH who meet this criteria a ticket for this match.”
The other criteria that fans must meet is attending at least 17 away matches this season.
There will be fans who met that criteria but won’t be going to Ibrox.

Some fans will have their ways to get a ticket but this won’t be guaranteed.
Perhaps a revert back to the old ticketing option would be best for all parties.
Celtic must call for Rangers ticket change
The Gers started this ticketing fiasco back in the summer to stop the Hoops fans celebrating in numbers at Ibrox.
However, this move has clearly taken a bit of spark from the world renowned derby.
Results could mean the Hoops sealing the league at Ibrox next week, showing just how much opposition fans are needed to cheer the team on.

Opposition fans are hardly heard now and there is less of a derby atmosphere.
Celtic must put out a statement calling for the old ticketing plans and get everything back to normal.
This will allow both Celtic and Rangers fans more fans into the ground to back their teams as they do every week.
Both clubs need their heads knocked together and get the derby atmosphere back on track.
