Celtic have announced ticketing details for the club’s first-ever match in the UEFA Europa Conference League, against Bodo/Glimt in February.

A third-placed finish in Group G of the Europa League has ensured progression into the knockout stages of the third-tier competition, which also includes big hitters such as Roma, Leicester City and Marseilles.

First up though is Norwegian champions Bodo/Glimt, who visit Celtic Park on 17th February before a return leg across the North Sea one week letter.

Celtic are charging £30 for adult tickets with concessions gaining entry for £23. Under-13s can attend for just £19.

Tickets are now on sale to season ticket holders. The deadline for cardholders to buy their ticket is 2pm on Wednesday, January 26th. The match is also included on the Home Cup Ticket Scheme, with money to be taken on January 31st.

It seems likely there will then be an additional sale to season ticket holders to buy extra briefs and potentially even a general sale at some point down the road.

A 60,000 sell-out seems like a tall order for this fixture, though it’s not impossible.

Certainly, the team were well back in the Europa League and if Ange Postecoglou’s Bhoys can get off to a positive start to a return this week then it should ensure a healthy crowd.

History will be made regardless as Celtic embark on a new UEFA experiment that they hope can appease mid-tier sides in Europe who have largely been priced out of the Champions League.

Can Celtic make a strong run in this tournament? I wouldn’t rule that out either.
