Ange Postecoglou has reacted after winning his 3rd Manager of the Year win this season alone.

Celtic confirmed this morning that Ange took home the Glen’s Manager of the award after already scooping the PFA and SFWA awards in recent weeks.

Postecoglou had previously picked up 4 manager of the month successes this season and has capped it off with the main gong after a sensational double-winning debut campaign.

And the Celtic boss spoke after being awarded the honour as he again pointed to the hard work of his Parkhead backroom staff. Speaking via Celtic’s official website, Ange said: “As I have said before it is very pleasing to win awards such as this and it shows we have been doing something right and achieved success, but once again it has been earned by the whole group of players and staff at the club as a true collective.

“We’ll dedicate this one to all our fans who have given us such phenomenal support during the season. Celtic Park on Saturday was just one example of this. It really was an atmosphere like no other and a day of celebration it really was a privilege to be part of.

“The club and the fans connected brilliantly again and the players put on a real show, demonstrating exactly why they are Champions of Scotland.”

Ange Postecoglou dominantes Scottish football Manager of the Year awards

Superb stuff from Ange once again as he takes home all of the Scottish football manager of the year awards on offer this season.

Not that it’s exactly much of a surprise either. After all, the Hoops boss has been the standout manager in the country this season. Yes, some will point to Robbie Neilson getting third place in the Premiership and Malky Mackay taking Ross County into the top half. But as good as these achievements are, they pale in comparison to what Ange has done at Parkhead.

That’s undeniable. The fact it’s been recognised across 3 separate awards shows that. It’s a sign of what Scottish football as a whole thinks of the job he’s done here.

As is the norm for the Celtic manager, he once again used the award to highlight the incredible work of his backroom staff. Individuals such as John Kennedy and Gavin Strachan were lambasted last season. It’s only right they earn recognition of their own for this season.

Hopefully, this really is only the start under the current management team as we go again next season. Celtic fans crave another era of dominance whilst an impact in Europe continues to be a must.

That’s the next challenge for Ange as he enjoys the final piece of recognition for this year’s achievements.
