Ange Postecoglou was in a calm, confident mood after today’s fine Celtic victory over Ross County in the Scottish Premiership.
67 Hail Hail were lucky enough to be in his post-match press conference where he fielded questions on a number of topics, including the title race itself.
One of his best answers came when someone queried what his plans were for tomorrow, having opened up a six-point gap at the top of the table.
Asked if he was going to sit down and watch Dundee vs Rangers on Sky Sports, Postecoglou said: “No, my Sundays are dictated by my wife and kids, mate. If Sing 2 is on TV or something I’ll have to fight for the remote control.
“Look, I get why people are sort of focusing on that and I get the questions – maybe I should just say yes so people stop asking it – but I don’t worry about things I can’t control. What we could control is today. We got three points today, why would we even bother looking at anything else?
“We’ve had to be really focused. If we start thinking about that now we would’ve been thinking about that at the start when we were on six points after seven games. We’ve done our bit this round.
“I’ll spend my Sunday with my family, when we get back in and ready to go again we’ll tackle the next game and try to get three points.”
So, there you go. Ange isn’t going to be glued to the telly watching Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s outfit. He’s more likely being sucked up into a family film like Sing 2.

In all seriousness, when Celtic are leading the league – do we really need to care about who’s playing catch up? As long as we do the business, the pressure is on them.
