Celtic have announced the finer details for the rest of the team’s stay in Japan.
The squad flew in to the country on Monday and trained at Yokohama F. Marinos’ Nissan Stadium before facing the reigning J1 League champions on Wednesday.
On Thursday they had a change of scenery, boarding the famous Japanese bullet train 300 miles from Yokohama to Osaka.
The club confirmed the schedule for the second half of the tour in an article on the official website.
In it, they explain that the team will train at Gamba Osaka‘s Panasonic Stadium on Friday. It will be an open session, similar to the one in Yokohama, allowing local supporters to see the team in action.
Unlike in Yokohama, we have no current players returning to their former clubs. It’s not clear whether the club will have anything laid on like the Shunsuke Nakamura event on Tuesday.

Perhaps a surprise Yosuke Ideguchi appearance. Then again, probably not.
On Saturday evening we will face the side currently 13th in the table. Again, the game is a 7pm local kick-off, meaning an 11am start in Scotland.
Celtic say that the team will leave Japan on Monday, so it seems like Sunday could be a rest day, although some training could also be pencilled in.

After that they will return home to Scotland and start preparing for the game against Wolves in Dublin.
By then, we’ll be less than two weeks away from the start of the competitive action. Things will be gathering pace nicely and a few new signings could provide an additional boost.
