Celtic have wished club legend Henrik Larsson all the best in his new role at Barcelona.
Earlier, my colleague John told you how the King of Kings had joined Ronald Koeman’s new look coaching team in Catalonia.
As expected, the news was greeted positively by the Celtic faithful, with the official club account tweeting their congratulations shortly before midday on Friday.
The tweet earned over 7,000 likes in its first five hours, while numerous other Hoops supporters weighed in with their support in the replies.
However, some fans couldn’t help but ponder whether the great Swede could help his old side out with a few neat loan signings.

Celtic don’t tend to shop in Spain
Barca are still reeling from their 8-2 Champions League loss to Bayern Munich, and a fire-sale is expected this summer, so perhaps we could just grab ourselves a bargain or two.
In all honesty, not too many people will be expecting us to sign anyone from the Catalan giants.
Celtic haven’t signed many players from La Liga in recent seasons, with the majority of our signings coming from England, France or eastern Europe.

However, if the King of Kings wants to throw us a talented youngster or two then we’ll gladly accept.
Let’s just hope he’s not planning on raiding us for Odsonne Edouard.
In others news, Murrayfield will host spectators for a rugby match next week.
