Celtic youngsters need pre-season game-time ahead of Lowland League campaign

The match against Caledonian Braves, if confirmed, would likely see a host of the Celtic B side included. After all, the youngsters need minutes into their legs ahead of the new Lowland League campaign.

With the first-team due down in Wales, don’t expect any big names to be featuring. Not unless Ange Postecoglou makes the decision for those returning from international duty to feature. That seems unlikely of course.

Chances are this will be full of prospects who will be entering the new Lowland League campaign with the B side. It’s also unclear as to whether this game would also be free for season-ticket holders to view via the Pass to Paradise system, if confirmed.

Even so, it’s a game for Celtic fans to keep an eye on. Hopefully, the club is more informative with regards to the Lennoxtown products this season. Too often last term were we left wondering how their progress was coming along.

Hopefully, they kick-start their Lowland League prep with a positive start on July 6th. As of yet, however, we’re still awaiting confirmation the game will take place.
