The Premier Sports Cup Final referee has been chosen by the Scottish Football Association.
Celtic and Rangers will do battle in the first showpiece finale of the season on December 15.
The first piece of silverware can be fought for at Hampden and now the whistler in charge of that match has been confirmed.
The SFA have picked experienced ref John Beaton to lead both teams out at the national stadium.
He will be assisted by David McGeachie and Jonathan Bell.
Meanwhile Steven McLean has been named fourth official while Alan Muir and Frank Connor will be on duty at Clydesdale House as VAR and assistant VAR.
