Celtic drop hilarious Halloween video starring Kyogo Furuhashi

Celtic have dropped an absolutely superb Halloween video this morning starring striker Kyogo Furuhashi as he looked to frighten his Hoops teammates.

It’s that time of year again as October 31st strikes and the trick or treaters get ready to do their rounds. Celtic managed to conjure up their own horror show against Livingston yesterday, but more on that later.

This morning, the Hoops posted a hilarious video of Kyogo trying to scare the rest of the Celtic first-team squad in one of the club’s best prank videos yet. It’s fair to say the likes of David Turnbull and Anthony Ralston were more than a touch surprised:

You simply cannot dislike the man. Celtic fans have absolutely adored Kyogo’s genuine nature on the pitch. From picking up litter around the Parkhead pitch to trying to reason with Aberdeen fans who were throwing objects onto the Pittodrie pitch several weeks ago, you have to love his purity.

Even here, Kyogo didn’t particularly look keen on giving his teammates too much of a fright.

Perhaps he’s saving his biggest scares of the year for Scottish Premiership defenders.

Kyogo Furuhashi goes on scare duty as Celtic squad line-up

Fair to say the only real scares he got here came from Turnbull and Ralston. Hart seemed a little taken aback too in fairness.

But on the other end of the scale, the rest of the Celtic squad were hardly quaking. It’s a good thing Kyogo’s talent in front of goal is better than his talent for producing scares!

The Japanese international has warmed himself to the Celtic support with a fine 10 goals to his name already. At this rate, the former Vissel Kobe man is already heading for a 30-goal season if he can keep things up.

Crazy to think he had a month out with injury too. Had he been fit for the entirety, you have to wonder how many goals he would’ve notched by now. Scary stuff indeed.

Anyway, Happy Halloween to all Celtic supporters and 67HH readers. Hopefully you got a good chuckle out of the club’s brilliant offering this morning.

We certainly needed one after yesterday.
