Celtic strikers Vakoun Bayo and Patryk Klimala have commenced battle.
The pair are fighting it out to become the third or perhaps second striker in the Hoops’ pecking order.
Both players put forward a good case during their showings against Clyde in the Scottish Cup win.
However, as game time will be restricted, the fight goes back under the radar until their next opportunity.
Vakoun Bayo and Patryk Klimala get it on for Celtic spot
Bayo hasn’t had the best time at Celtic since joining from FC DAC last season.

The Ivorian has been unlucky with limited minutes and injuries during his year at the club. He has showed promise in the air, but not a whole lot else in his appearances here and there.
However, the striker managed to bag a goal for the Hoops against Clyde in the Scottish Cup.
Hot on his heels and challenging Bayo for his the choice spot is winter signing Klimala. He also gave Neil Lennon something to think about by assisting Scott Brown’s goal.

Both players missed gilt edged chances but, all things considered, they can be happy with what they did.
The positional battle from the training ground was finally aired during the Clyde game.
There was little to separate the pair as they both were involved in goals and could have done more.
The pair couldn’t really have argued for more considering the type of game and conditions they were playing under.
Unfortunately, they will be unlikely to build on their performances in the next match against Hearts.

Predictably, first choice Odsonne Edouard and Leigh Griffiths will be back in for the tough test at Parkhead.
However, minutes will still be up for grabs and Klimala and Bayo will be fighting for every last one.
Edouard is unlikely to be at the club next season and the brass ring is up for grabs.
Perform and realise your potential and they could perhaps be the big money signing in future.
